ICGE was featured on the Grenada Broadcasting Network (GBN) Channel 6 News, in Grenada. All four executive members of the Canadian team were interviewed.

The International Conference on Green Entrepreneurship was featured in the Waterloo Chronicle on Wednesday July 09, 2008. The article, titled "Students promote development and sustainability in Grenada", focused on the Canadian team and how the idea was formed to become an international endeavor.

ICGE is honoured to present Senator Liz Thompson as the Keynote speaker for this 2-day event. Senator Thompson's research, work and interests surround a variety of subjects, relating to Politics, the Environment, Economy, Health, Energy, and Law. She is the Winner of the United Nations Environment Programme's "Champion of The Earth Award" 2008, for work in environment, sustainable development and climate change. The International Conference on Green Entrepreneurship was recently featured in Issue 1, Spring 2008 of the Catalyst Magazine http://catalyst.therecord.com/. The publication is a product of The Centre for Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo. The magazine focuses on sharing the stories of University of Waterloo innovators to provide inspiration and to forge creativity for future entrepreneurial ventures within the community.
