Laura Rynard

Director of Communications & Sustainable Development

Laura has strong interests in international development in particular relating to agriculture, energy systems, and the development of environmental policies. Being raised on a family farm in rural Ontario, Canada introduced Laura to many social and environmental problems, such as the effects of pesticides, soil erosion, and climate change, which fostered her desire to begin a career related to needed environmental change. She completed co-operative education terms successfully in relation to environmental approvals, pesticide management, energy systems, waste management and environmental training procedures. Laura brings her skills, in particular communication, knowledge of social and environmental policy along with strong research skills to the team as the Director of Communications Canada and Sustainable Development.
